This team building exercise
that blends inter-dependence and relationship to build up among the
participants. Participants are required to discuss and come up with
solution to resolve aspects covering communication skill, strategy,
planning, leadership and decision making process.
These exercises are more
focus to the outdoor activities such as :
- JUNGLE TREKKING
Mainly for Jungle
Trekking is a team activity that focusing on coordination,
cooperation, team work, perseverance and inter dependence in a
process of achieving and completing team goals and objective to
explore the core values.
- RAFTING
River Rafting or
kayaking is a team activity that focuses on improving team effort,
planning, utilization of allocated resources and time, problem
solving and conflict resolution and achieving goals by building up
raft to get to ascending point.
- CAMPING
Camping is an
activity to cope with challenge as a team. The challenges include
organizing the setting up a tent, outdoor cooking, basic camp craft,
sentry posting, preparing basic amenities and group performance.
This activity requires teamwork, creativity, alertness, discipline,
courage, safety consciousness etc. The essential factors for success
at work place.
- ABSEILING
This is a rope
course. It enables participants to coordinate their mental
activities with hands and body movement. This activity incorporates
coordinated action and support by team members. It enables the
persons to practice principles that they have learned. This activity
involves going down from high platform or cliff. Equipment is more
to special ropes, harness, carabineers, figure of eight etc.
- ORIENTEERING
Orienteering is a
sport in which orienteers use an accurate, detailed map and a
compass to find points in the landscape. It can be enjoyed as a walk
in the woods or as a competitive sport.A standard orienteering
course consists of a start, a series of control sites that are
marked by circles, connected by lines and numbered in the order they
are to be visited, and a finish. The control site circles are
centered around the feature that is to be found; this feature is
also defined by control descriptions (sometimes called clues). On
the ground, a control flag marks the location that the orienteer
must visit. To verify a visit, the orienteer uses a punch hanging
next to the flag to mark his or her control card. Different punches
make different patterns of holes in the paper.
- NIGHT WALK
Night walk is an
activity to discover our senses – sight, hearing, smell, taste and
touch. This is an appreciation activity, where most of us take our
senses for granted. Natures are there for us to discover, use and
upgrade. By improving our senses, we will improve our personal
performance and improve our judgment.
a) Solo Night
Walk
The participant will
be guided by instructor at the early stage and then they will walk
alone slowly in the darkness of the night and learn to adapt with
the environment.
b) Jungle
Night Walk
More to togetherness
with the guide to adventure the darkness of the night with sound or
sight of small mammals, insects, birds, reptiles, flora and fauna.
Experiencing the beauty of the greenish darkness of the rainforest
on the other side.
